Housing Program Worker

Key Responsibilities:
 To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
# D2 k" d" @$ j7 A4 l; |5 D6 E To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
 To help promote the program in the community.
3 \  X6 j' V" a' y To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
9 |' I4 a7 d6 @8 _7 d! u6 a6 j  R1 e To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
" r9 p' D5 q* H0 i' m4 x8 t+ D1 s' ? To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
3 H; l% K  \& O) J5 U5 l) ~ To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
. ]% `1 H8 }* b9 A7 A To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

- M+ W- Y- [+ DQualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
 Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.

6 B2 D8 ?6 f% O: u( z3 W. x Current CPR and First Aid certifications
2 ?3 z: E) |$ S. S1 y' W$ m; f; Q4 J Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
