The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department. The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.

This position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload. The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.; Y/ ~1 t |9 z# N2 V

: v, u! Z4 O, @+ f! W2 U, V• Human Resources Management( v( K1 e5 W$ j4 l0 q z
• Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities
- K* x$ n0 R, K6 C/ F' K5 l• Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors
% z+ n, J/ x# f" m/ q$ L1 w- w• Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities$ ^" S+ }/ L* |# E2 z; Z
• Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet requirements for delivery of services n. s ^, y% B7 i
• Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities

Program Delivery) n6 _& @% P5 f0 b+ F) ^& D/ E* F- |; O
• Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program
; B2 W3 D2 i# b• Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes0 }$ i( _; {% H# C
• Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required" i$ O& H: N1 ^( c* p
• Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication" A. U7 [) z, n+ D# b1 u* b! e- S
• Review service action plans and support programs as requested
' _1 w" |7 H+ U m2 M: T% E' |) J• Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department5 N! B& U: m& M9 V' J
• Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program- k- i3 z8 E( A4 h% y x/ S x, G
• Implement service modification, as required

• Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review& y0 G! K3 {+ D; ~' K' ?& V# M
• Update program files and documents are with current information and documentation, as required+ | M( S* ^1 h. Z! ^+ c* j" R1 P! e

Qualifications:
" A% |. u8 p& g( T( o w
$ s b: B4 D- @2 V• Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field
, b# d' A0 l+ m3 L• Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities
( u8 n4 J+ L, V4 V• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience
3 _, ^- d1 v; u9 U3 V$ V1 A• Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations4 T9 l" u* P% l
• Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population

• Equivalences will be considered
