The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department. The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.

This position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload. The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.0 o* M, ] m0 h D/ Y

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities ( B- W: E0 q4 P& c* y7 g# O5 |
• Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors : B3 Z- _' q& X& ]" `
• Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities
2 o M* D* ^1 F8 ~9 p) w1 \• Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet requirements for delivery of services* Z6 f' K' d: q. y8 g1 `2 P
• Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities

Program Delivery/ ?9 ?' Q/ h4 ?# I; t5 x, K* t
• Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program $ @3 i0 [. e. J. l
• Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes
- P0 a& l }9 h* x• Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required
1 z; J: W( P; { c* c• Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication
+ z& x* ~) M/ W• Review service action plans and support programs as requested- r8 ?! h) P0 U6 |: S+ K
• Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department/ [" q+ j) E" R0 c7 ~9 S0 a
• Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program- h) ?6 I" a) J( W2 k* e' ^
• Implement service modification, as required

Qualifications:: ]! q6 ]' {" |" s0 N
8 i, A- |3 J7 p) `: [7 i
• Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field
" b3 ~1 ]1 P: A, a7 W" I; o: n' X• Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities; E1 ?6 M- S O9 @1 m
• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience
; K1 y& d% i; U3 l; x# ^• Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations
- `4 p" @' Z: I8 D3 p+ a• Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population
