' L3 g7 s! a# E! Psummer of 2009. FAVA is a non-profit, charitable organization whose mandate is to

resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and ' Q2 F5 g. M7 [
screenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
3 v% `: j2 Q0 c. j% z8 HFAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as
6 P2 B2 ^4 ~* g+ r6 Mwell as the script, magazine and book library. 1 \7 H) M- `) u3 h1 @, j/ F

& Y) Y% g$ e4 D1 q& K9 ?0 N- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library
' u5 Y1 r8 a% u# u( V" p4 u- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books " ~! ?3 Q$ A3 y! ?0 ~
- Implement a catalogue template for future use
( o; ^% }0 a) B/ \% S- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure
2 t9 X& t. l$ x1 c$ s- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

- Applicants must be unemployed and attending (or have recently completed) a post-

- Length of position: 10 consecutive weeks

- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts
