support the production and exhibition of film, video and media artists from Northern

and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a , h- G: U8 j0 N3 f+ X' K& ~
resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and

5 h( \; M( y& F, jJob Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the 8 S+ C! Q5 S9 Y6 I' w$ n2 w
FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as ; B: u. }, d3 o
well as the script, magazine and book library. : E# {0 I$ Q0 {$ P: {

- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library / D( j$ a+ C5 r+ e6 m
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books V% y) ~* @! R: f P
- Implement a catalogue template for future use
' s. Q0 x" s/ Q, }* c n- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure , ^1 ^" }0 h Q5 R
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

- Applicants must be unemployed and attending (or have recently completed) a post-

- Experience or training in library sciences preferred

- Strong team player abilities
