support the production and exhibition of film, video and media artists from Northern

FAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from 8 b2 n5 C& g3 f8 I, @

and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a
& I7 O9 R. {* L& Kresource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and

) a' v5 x1 H/ OJob Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the - R: O; k V' ^; O6 b
FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as
, U- v, ~1 O5 e" a6 ?3 Cwell as the script, magazine and book library. 4 o Q/ Q0 v1 w9 f0 [8 ?( L# p
; n2 L4 S. x* d' F* J$ ^0 ?' F/ @, P
Duties: & y& Y' N0 s2 N* n0 D- N T" B% s
- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library
2 L2 U2 u7 p% P( D- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books 1 E6 O' N2 c' O1 L+ C
- Implement a catalogue template for future use
' M1 j5 j: F9 f- [3 c' N- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure
6 t9 i2 _1 }% I, V6 l @- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

- Applicants must be unemployed and attending (or have recently completed) a post-

- Length of position: 10 consecutive weeks
