Celebrate Earth Day at Hawrelak Park

Come to Hawrelak Park on Sunday April 26 to celebrate Earth Day. It’s a chance for you and your family to learn how to go green, take in great entertainment and win eco-friendly prizes.

R, aThis six-hour festival features live music, the Borneo Lion Dancers, hands on activities for kids, and a display highlighting the City of Edmonton’s environment programs. Take part in our green contest and you’ll have a chance to win prizes including a backyard composter and a push lawn mower.

3 S! M" K% U9 TEarth Day officially takes place on April 22.  Edmonton’s Earth Day event is held on the Sunday after Earth Day.

To promote environmentally-friendly travel, ETS will run a shuttle bus from the University LRT station to Hawrelak Park.
