Has the following summer position available: June 1 – August 16, 2005 (40 hours per week)

Housing Program Worker

Key Responsibilities:
 To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
 To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
 To help promote the program in the community.
 To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
 To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
$ x$ w' C3 k" d$ J To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
4 q3 e; _4 R: D7 M# ?6 F To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
 To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

1 ?; o/ F2 e+ p. D, qQualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
+ E1 _! _7 q" S9 Z7 f2 | Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
 Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
 Current CPR and First Aid certifications
8 A7 D1 O1 @6 x' c: q Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
