Duties

. E! J- A: U6 J* p( I1 P8 V * Conducts isotopic analysis of geological samples using Thermal Ionization Mass Spectrometry, including performing isotopic analysis of standard samples and control solutions to verify machine performance specifications

* Performs data entry and ensures quality control and quality assurance0 H% [9 s/ j U0 m/ G
* Coordinates instrument analysis schedules for Research Associates, Post Doctoral Fellows and Graduate Students
' P, X1 N. u+ l5 K/ P6 U4 a * Provides general technical support and routine husbandry for the Mass Spectrometry Laboratory, including preparing filaments (welding and out gassing) for analysis for use by self and others; cleaning instrument components and conducting minor repairs/replacement of components; checking glassware and pipettes; orders consumables and supplies

Qualifications
