    * Conducts isotopic analysis of geological samples using Thermal Ionization Mass Spectrometry, including performing isotopic analysis of standard samples and control solutions to verify machine performance specifications
    * Loads purified samples to filaments for analysis
$ F3 `$ i& w6 n" Q" ?& x: j. S    * Performs data entry and ensures quality control and quality assurance
- u, v, y( ~  ~& ~) g8 h: S  K: [    * Coordinates instrument analysis schedules for Research Associates, Post Doctoral Fellows and Graduate Students
- V- C. ^' k0 G8 p# [# |* U    * Provides general technical support and routine husbandry for the Mass Spectrometry Laboratory, including preparing filaments (welding and out gassing) for analysis for use by self and others; cleaning instrument components and conducting minor repairs/replacement of components; checking glassware and pipettes; orders consumables and supplies

    * Assists in the upkeep of safety procedures and information; completes routine checks on safety equipment

you mean the pay is cheaper, but i think there are lots people can do and this kind of job is worth this price. It is not senior analysist

8 s6 [" B" S  m) S本來 GC-MS 的， 聼說在 GM 裝焊擡推都有 us$76/hr,現在改行了。

( v0 V) W1 B% B+ y* h
3 E8 \" H+ j8 K) z好了。言歸正傳，ua 給的工資，往往只得市場的 6至7成。

You've never heard of Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry?
Samples were first separated into components by GC before sending to MS for identification.
  S* J3 u+ c4 s" Iwage range from $42000 to $80000 /year.

ti-MS stands for mass spectrometer with thermal ionization source.
