Responsibilities:
- Organize focus group(s)
; H3 N9 @! U5 [% |- P9 p- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- R$ B3 o' v+ n0 J( c- Recruit children for summer program
- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
& C' ?9 @. P/ L$ v- Supervise volunteer(s)
! E* f7 b  o& G4 n7 m4 c; O( d- Prepare final report for funding agency

Qualifications:
9 y  s/ d5 Y$ l: m5 y  c
0 [' [2 X+ \! v* Q5 A; m: R- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
6 k! P- U. R  u2 @: @0 Z- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
8 q; P4 t5 G+ \* a; G# T, p- good computer skills
/ Y) F& v$ \: r- leadership abilities

- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
