Responsibilities:

1 t2 V, b! N) N# v3 \- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
, w$ |9 N. Y9 I* J! ~9 q; v+ z- Recruit children for summer program
- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
- Supervise volunteer(s)

" p! b4 I, R* g. B- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
1 q, X" ?5 b0 x! c: N- communication skills
- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
# x1 K* I, g  ^9 ^  I- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary

- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
