A twelve-week training program for careers in Child Care.

knowledge to help them succeed in entry-level child care positions.3 V3 g. F1 l% r

• Orientation Course for Child Care Staff (Level 1). e* r, E6 J) ~5 N1 Q2 n
• Standard Child Care First Aid

• Modules on Work Place Culture and Work Search1 s. a7 V& Y# f+ P
• Practicum Placements

• be a landed immigrant, convention refugee or new citizen1 v6 V! a, s3 m1 N
of Canada, ^$ D/ j+ T6 O3 G
• have a Social Insurance Number5 Q. L4 W- w. H; C
• provide a completed criminal record check and child welfare check. G8 I8 c0 |6 v; S) M8 O, t+ K) O
• CLBA score of at least 4 or completion of LINC 4 or equivalent
8 V- V0 a( g* O, l2 X3 u5 Q% x• demonstrate commitment to participating in a 12 week full-time

Participants may be eligible for Grant Funding if they meet
! ?# }, o/ d0 l9 }# }$ ethe following requirements, in addition to the one listed above:

They CANNOT quit their job to take the course
