A twelve-week training program for careers in Child Care.

• WHMIS, Q, p" z" N2 e) R0 A
• Practical and theoretical modules relevant to child care$ i- r7 l; ?0 w! ]5 z# L: z o; T
• Components to improve communication skills
! f! o* Z1 S: K6 x• Modules on Work Place Culture and Work Search

• be a landed immigrant, convention refugee or new citizen4 D0 K& o5 S) P: K0 g/ S4 g( `& v
of Canada
- r1 m, P5 C( H; d8 N* |& w• have a Social Insurance Number
J! x8 K# G" W9 \! ]1 r• provide a completed criminal record check and child welfare check j" T& @* ^# y. U" g9 _
• CLBA score of at least 4 or completion of LINC 4 or equivalent: d+ [# k3 s! z3 N! U! L& |
• demonstrate commitment to participating in a 12 week full-time

They CANNOT quit their job to take the course$ J' z6 H# k4 I4 }
• meet the financial eligibility criteria
