This program is designed to provide participants with the skills and
; r7 v0 N Z9 n, O/ jknowledge to help them succeed in entry-level child care positions.

• Standard Child Care First Aid

" m+ Q9 m- L8 W! P! C' f7 m+ \• Practical and theoretical modules relevant to child care3 ]: e5 c' W3 Y- [( a
• Components to improve communication skills% |. y7 t$ X. c# g8 |
• Modules on Work Place Culture and Work Search

1 L- I1 X9 w) b• be a landed immigrant, convention refugee or new citizen+ }6 n1 c7 J V+ _
of Canada
; i; R5 m2 @, I5 s• have a Social Insurance Number* l4 d* u0 b" b" q, N; F
• provide a completed criminal record check and child welfare check. x1 ~( }4 y) E: h/ s9 B
• CLBA score of at least 4 or completion of LINC 4 or equivalent
5 Q4 w# e+ e- `- B* v+ Z• demonstrate commitment to participating in a 12 week full-time
; t2 `5 G3 j4 A1 pprogram

the following requirements, in addition to the one listed above:
