A twelve-week training program for careers in Child Care.

knowledge to help them succeed in entry-level child care positions.

• Standard Child Care First Aid: M- p1 w. L' }: ^8 N6 n/ P
• WHMIS3 A! J( C: B- A
• Practical and theoretical modules relevant to child care+ o- y: y6 A4 k( Y; ]
• Components to improve communication skills
% S6 N0 j$ o# k+ X5 ^• Modules on Work Place Culture and Work Search

• be a landed immigrant, convention refugee or new citizen4 A+ @0 \ U }! S; } j
of Canada
5 Z3 N$ {: |' S# I! i• have a Social Insurance Number
. F+ T# [! _! D8 L6 d& W& Q5 u• provide a completed criminal record check and child welfare check2 F% [3 [! ~( b: m* m9 a) R
• CLBA score of at least 4 or completion of LINC 4 or equivalent
! f4 `6 O6 F% \3 V1 ~* |. y• demonstrate commitment to participating in a 12 week full-time

Participants may be eligible for Grant Funding if they meet; T- |3 s3 g( R3 q: l& ]
the following requirements, in addition to the one listed above:

They CANNOT quit their job to take the course
