4 f( D' t; H4 C1 sHIV Edmonton is looking for a Fund Development Coordinator. This is a "hands-on" position dealing with HIV Edmonton donors, staff and volunteers on a daily basis. The primary responsibility is to develop and implement the overall fundraising strategy for HIVE.4 ?* z7 M v) H y: ]$ q
) T7 Q% S# I) i; E: |& \Key Responsibilities: lead in the creation of a Fund Development Department in meeting its income targets for revenue and capital through existing/new fundraising activities; develop strategies for significant growth in income to fund new programs and projects; represent HIV Edmonton externally and to build high-level support for its work.. ]: ?3 z4 }: T9 p9 r
% C6 T6 O* |% p/ M; O" h/ nPLUS: effective coordination, delivery and logistical administration of all fundraising events; secure/confirm event logistics, sponsors, prizes, supplies, and volunteers need to run fundraising events. Specific events at this time include: Scotia Bank AIDS Walk for Life and a casino in the fall.2 P7 X0 a, A: v8 a& H
* n/ c% h5 ~4 r1 iIn addition: enhance HIV Edmonton' fund development volunteer base and improve volunteer training and support processes; maintain systems and processes for monitoring income and expenditure on a monthly basis and to generate quarterly forecasts; manage the development of all high level fundraising relationships and ensures/supports the involvement of the Executive Director, where appropriate.

PLUS: oversees the management and development of the donor dBase; ensure compliance with all Canada Customs Revenue Agency (CCRA) regulations, data protection regulatory requirements and to promote best practice in fund raising.
