Responsibilities:      Processing and cryopreservation of Cord Blood Stem Cells

                     Maintenance of liquid nitrogen freezers

                     Quality assurance procedures to maintain general good
                       laboratory practice             
' M) ^1 f) _5 y, y" J( ]' QRequirements:          Permanent Resident or Citizen of Canada
                     Good command of spoken and written English
- d  d+ u' e- z: w0 p/ T& c                     Certificate of competence in Laboratory Technology from a recognized Canadian Institution
                       or a foreign equivalent Prior experience in a medical or scientific laboratory setting
                       an asset Weekend duty on a rotational basis
Availability   :       Immediate; probational specialized training period of 6 weeks

Position           :   Laboratory Assistant Part-Time (6hrs. /day)

                       Processing and documentation of laboratory inventory and data

( ^; l, d7 C4 u& m                     Maintenance of liquid nitrogen freezers
                     General laboratory maintenance
Requirements:     Permanent Resident or Citizen of Canada
6 \, \& A+ h2 J# ^9 F& N                     Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
                     Good command of written and spoken English
; J: L2 {  @8 [2 h/ K' v* v, H* O                     Computer literate
                     Prior experience in a medical or scientific laboratory an asset
                     Available for limited weekend duty
