Definition of Restricted Dog
# u5 a8 R' I- a Z" q. }+ m, @5 g8 uThe City of Edmonton Bylaw #13145 defines a "restricted dog" as any dog:

That has chased, attacked or bitten any person or animal causing physical injury and resulting in a conviction under this bylaw , ~6 }3 j+ `$ d' T
That has chased, attacked or bitten any person or animal on more than one occasion, with or without causing physical injury, and resulting in separate convictions under this bylaw % ~( D2 d6 s" P/ L* H" e7 n: w
That has been made the subject of an order under the Dangerous Dogs Act
2 ?/ y% w$ C3 T5 j6 _6 cCertified by an Alberta licenced veterinarian to be primarily of the breed Staffordshire Bull Terrier as that breed is defined by the Canadian Kennel Club
8 B) r1 ]& P& a/ P- v) u2 GCertified by an Alberta licenced veterinarian to be primarily of the breed American Staffordshire Terrier as that breed is defined by the Canadian Kennel Club
