好像不是减税，是由于增税、禁烟等一系列措施而导致的烟草销售额降低。详见Inews 880 原文：

The Alberta government, already suffering from declining oil revenue, is now facing a dip in tobacco revenue.

/ n$ ]$ U- `- C: H3 V+ i1 QFigures from the quarterly fiscal update show a six percent drop sucking away $50 million dollars from initial budget projections.

Angeline Webb, a Cancer Control Analyst for the Canadian Cancer Society, says "it appears that the Tobacco Reduction Act is having the desired effect."

Meanwhile the final phase of the Act goes into effect on January 1st.

That's when smokers will no longer be able to purchase their fix at post-secondary institutions along with businesses containing a pharmacy, and that includes supermarkets.

4 b6 Q2 f/ F0 T" [  ~" TBut the Campaign for a Smoke-Free Alberta is still calling for a two-dollar per pack tax increase to make smoking even less affordable.

It points to a recent Health Canada survey which found 20 per cent of Alberta teens smoke, compared with 15 per cent across Canada.
