询问关于申请open work permit

大家好，有事想让大家帮忙，谢过先。我是在读研究生，我太太现在持有的study permit快要过期，想问一下如果她要留下，要申请什么签证？work permit?好像有个open work permit是不需要employment letter就可以申请的。请问有没有专门的application kit for that?还是申请一般的work permit?还是申请change of status or extension of my stay in canada?

within 90 days after graduation, your wife can apply for the open work permit with no emplyment. otherwise, she can renew study permit with school letter (she can get it after paying 3 courses tuition). she cannot apply any work permit without graduation.

if you are married and you have a PR or study permit or work permit, she can apply open work permit as long as your permit expired. in this case, you need some provement of your marriage statutes. i dont recommend this way unless you are eligible for applying PR.

6 k6 E. r9 Z0 s1 }( L( a3 bThank you so much.  The case is that I won't graduate till one year later, and she doesn't want to pay tuition fee.  Seems only case 2 works.  We have married here, and we have the marriage license, etc.  And my PR application is in process.  I have been waiting for 6 months after my medical exam.  Why didn't you recommend case 2?  In case 2, what kind of application should she go through?  Regular work permit?  Does applying for regular work permit requires employment letter?

She hasn't graduated.  She just quitted the program.  How does this work?

you have a study permit, for let's say another year? and she quits her school? and your PR application is almost done, is she on the application too? I assume she is.

5 l: I: A) S) \' Kyes, just like the one mentioned, "case 2", she can apply work permit using "change of status or extension of my stay in canada" form, provided that you have a valid permit and your marriage certificate. She will get an spouse work permit which is a open work permit too, can work for anyone with some exceptions.

EDIT: now days the work permit application could take more than 2 months, so better hurry! And how soon exactly is her study permit going to expire, cuz your PR is almost done, and recently new quotas are used and PPR are starting to fly out, so maybe you will get yours very soon.

0 q9 l2 @1 ~/ C, q6 |+ JThank you so much.  Yes I have my study permit for another year.  Yes she quitted her school.  Since we just got married, and I havn't added her on my PR application though. So, does "Case 2" still work for her?  BTW, how can you tell they are using the new quota?

其他论坛看到的，这几天NY office疯狂发ppr,LA office也有动静，估计其他的office也会在最近开始发ppr，我自己是8月的体检，也在等。
& B) T8 t: f/ k: e" o4 Y( T1 z. s0 t
/ X, l+ `7 U4 B: c" l& {2 t你们最近结婚，这应该没什么问题吧，她没有移民不要紧，工签和那个没有关系，人都在加拿大了，还没听说过有几个这种陪读工签被据的；；顶多提供一些结婚前在一起的一些东西。详细的checklist,CIC主页都有，按照要求提供就行了。
