Context: The Edmonton Waste Management Centre of Excellence is a non-profit org., with a mandate to facilitate research, technology development and training in waste management. + I; b- Y9 P- Q. g/ s1) Research Program Manager: a highly-motivated individual to manage and expand the Centre's research activities. Role includes supervision of ongoing projects, establishing new initiatives, identification of funding opportunities & other management functions. Successful candidate will have an advanced scientific or engineering degree, preferably a PhD, a minimum of 3 years of successful work experience in a research environment, and project management experience.8 b! v, Q* H, A% @
, s9 x' Y3 n* o5 [) Z S2) Office Manager: The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, proven work experience in office administration/interest in working in a non-profit organization in the environmental field. You are highly organized & able to work effectively with little supervision. Key functions include reception duties, general off. adm., developing/maintaining a filing system and organizing the logistics of visiting delegations, technical seminars and training courses.

5 [. ?* G' ^0 a' z$ H' l3) Marketing & Communications Coordinator: we are looking for a self-motivated & creative individual with a degree (or equivalent) in Marketing and Communications, and a minimum of 3 years work experience in implementing marketing and communications initiatives. Key responsibilities include development/implementation of an integrated marketing & communications strategy and identification of promotional opportunities for the Centre.
