Full time position (35 hours each week)

Job Description – Responsibilities
' D% P8 n) Q: {, V•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
' S% c* _' u2 K•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
* H4 \# N# A: g; F•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
; [) a6 h7 n9 F9 t•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
4 {, h% U- w/ }5 V•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
$ ?6 K6 A/ i0 o6 ]2 F•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
8 c& j* |& c8 r! D•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
4 F: r+ A5 ~; E9 U  x•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
# `9 a1 ]  c( c! f6 r5 X6 [) V•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
$ [/ p+ _( }( c•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn

Other
•        requires police security check at the expense of employee and child welfare check
