Full time position (35 hours each week)

Job Description – Responsibilities
$ T& j+ E! R: c- Q# H•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
" x# R1 K5 G* r0 h& G, m' ~•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
0 B/ P( y8 J- |, s7 `•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
9 w& s% t, T# f7 \•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
: D2 }1 l- V, ^) A' \•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
2 g) z" {' E+ M: x  P0 V% W( O•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
