Full time position (35 hours each week)

Job Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
' J1 [6 t1 n8 \& r4 i•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
4 e- p1 k! H0 `; i% Y5 x$ q+ ^•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
1 z) D# ^' d$ N$ R" m: P•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
! U  K: u: h7 D1 A& u3 Y9 A•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

$ C9 n# z  {6 r2 L* zQualifications
8 c( j9 d1 R7 ?9 E! G& O' A& p•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
" c; Y$ W% q% n' d) i* C& e•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
# |( d; Q. s! j# P1 Z2 \•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
