Position: Youth Services Manager
6 n9 ]  W1 m/ B9 }0 y* \4 Y: h. NFull time position (35 hours each week)

Job Description – Responsibilities
2 U! M3 _# }: u; L( X( e2 B•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
! r7 |, |7 j% M6 b/ W. B: u+ G•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
  `5 W: m7 h+ C3 Y) W. `2 W•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
0 S- U  X( C* r8 k! Q' I! ?# K•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
3 f: F# @6 d+ {•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
! }& [  G0 A4 _1 V  M•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
4 d5 Z. M6 s+ r  a7 o" N! b% ]•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
