Full time position (35 hours each week)

5 y0 C# F9 C" O" V, rJob Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
3 D* b! O4 a) N, b; W! Y•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
6 Y1 V, D5 A5 K: R•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
$ S0 N1 J. f7 b# @+ M7 w•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
1 q- {5 o3 Z6 w" W•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
1 }1 S) T$ s  Q0 h" F•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
; P% k) E$ n6 |2 D6 `/ i2 W•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
9 v9 g$ z% E. t8 k* l•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
