Position: Youth Services Manager
+ v8 V2 E$ A( l' R5 AFull time position (35 hours each week)

Job Description – Responsibilities
: T" `( m8 x- n•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
. x; s& Y. T# k. ~•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
" ]- q+ }' e2 A9 i- `& Z  r•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
  Y  d+ ~" q( T4 J4 c4 `•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
! q; O% F  g5 D" \) S•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
* \" h/ T/ R0 X4 S% K/ y$ L- Y•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
" {, t- k# {. g; P/ w•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
1 @" E3 [1 Y! _6 u* J•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

7 H1 k) c8 G( D# {$ q* vQualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
