Job Description
Position: Youth Services Manager
8 l) r3 [5 M; V$ N1 V1 w6 x! kFull time position (35 hours each week)

8 h. ]# y% q5 G) j( t: oJob Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
) |5 r$ D% }, ~( T# `•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
' U8 e5 \* k, l•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
. w1 K0 @- A0 n•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
9 K0 @; Q8 H3 z. n3 N/ w•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
$ w( c9 V0 A* [3 [•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
