Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant
& J+ ?- [3 m1 N3 k; oLocation:        Edmonton

Major Responsibilities:
1 z8 ]# d! I' Q7 A' \•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
7 r/ x; A1 e# p2 y•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.  W; d2 g/ f* D4 k
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
. T! w) k1 o1 H2 L•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.3 B  r: s7 [# P1 ?3 h7 q3 V6 J
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
3 H) b- w) w) h8 Q•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.- M: Q; I2 k( B8 z3 v  ~2 \
•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.* s% k& d2 Q' c# j3 F7 m' n. y$ V7 o
•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
" x- z3 M' \+ O% U! Y! F( T8 ^•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
5 b/ U& `8 t  k+ Q•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.$ L- h5 t. ?. V. [8 e5 u# s5 f7 H
•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
$ U3 d: b6 `& ]1 |* b( c! U•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.6 l# A$ ^, i6 C8 w' k
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.
$ j6 @9 g# i8 l& i7 s4 @•        Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

; k3 W, O2 ~1 F•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. + e: R4 C1 R/ ~$ L4 F9 U" Q
•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
9 D% D% O) b' v- b( k( D•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
