Reports to: National Sales Manager

• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
( C2 @0 H, P# n• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.$ t$ V: u- S K* W
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. ! g) f1 g1 S! H ?6 ^
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.! |* h+ Q. V4 `1 |+ @0 g' Y
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
. Y2 {3 w j# c0 l( L p1 t2 `• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
( E' Q6 w4 l# b6 e9 I" m; ~• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
" q. p8 O" N: V! ]- Z• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.% Z" d1 P; n) H" Z9 Q! D
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.$ M) F' k$ _, K2 s
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
6 O! l8 B8 `3 y( l; K) A: ?• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
$ P5 I- m: R# v1 g3 h' }• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.7 k, [7 E+ r6 ~5 t w# n
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.1 F" H& d* [. ~& s
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.+ \5 n u4 i: c* g- N2 y
8 R' A* E s. TQualifications:1 S- Q& `' u8 C% u( m- W$ R# z) m
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
, D& C: N+ G7 h$ o1 U& X• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. 9 L+ y& M& k1 m3 X/ C8 H
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. . t( N9 {6 y' S0 {4 T4 L
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
! k' d' k" R% D( j, {• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential3 }' b. R) M: Y1 A! e
• Not scared of heights
- x1 k' [* |9 R• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
