Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant% g, m# g& R) l+ N; [: v1 G
Location:        Edmonton

Major Responsibilities:
& ~6 e& U) {# I* j( k% ?  b•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations., a3 a7 n7 z+ I1 g% P" w. h8 q) t
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
+ l7 {5 w! x0 w•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
7 M# G. _. S, F! z•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
- l; V( G6 n2 k  D/ C7 Z. w7 T•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.0 ?5 p9 }4 Z3 t
•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
  L1 A- }% h6 t6 W: W* w•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.1 {8 K+ t4 S+ g% c6 t6 O
•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
( |0 w# P  K% h3 O: H( b•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
1 I' U* w3 N6 w•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.5 U( P% F+ P) T+ N6 p: G, a. O
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.- H9 S6 C! Q$ C
•        Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:8 R( f( U+ X+ }! p3 \
•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
5 I+ P; {* d4 H5 B' e  k$ ]6 c•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
* x8 l# L9 `8 O; H" U% S9 _/ J6 n' U•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
