* ?: T. _1 H2 x3 S2 D4 e2 w0 H4 Q7 q+ a+ D" `1 C, `# `
    * Develops,coordinates, and facilitates the Institute for Sexual Minority Studies and Services (iSMSS), Camp fYrefly sexual minority youth outreach program
- o9 F9 \1 J" t" M$ v    * Coordinates Camp fYrefly's year-round educational programming, peer leadership training,and youth mentoring activities" n' r9 S+ }( u3 U' m
    * Coordinates, develops and oversees the camp application, recruitment, and selection processes
5 v/ O+ [! X% n6 Z  U+ r& V    * Recruits, trains, and supervises volunteers who support the delivery of Camp fYrefly's annual summer youth leadership retreat. }2 a0 E) R5 `
    * Develops and solicits appropriate workshop and educational programming in consultation with a youth advisory committee and community stakeholders- c4 A  A, C/ l/ H' A$ |
    * Liaises with the Assistant Director to set appropriate work priorities, action plans,and volunteer and program resource requirements
, x5 L2 M1 i* `1 N. H# j' P3 D1 l2 t    * Works with the Assistant Director to plan, deliver and evaluate fundraising activities and donor recognition programs
% Y( Q) w  j+ V& e3 x6 k    * Provides a year-end activities report and program evaluation to the Assistant Director! P/ U' S8 [0 }* ]
    * Serves as a resource person and liaises with the Assistant Director in budget planning
8 i" {9 s& q  ]; f; D0 u# S2 r    * Develops high quality promotional and educational materials0 l. I; H. A- H6 ]4 P
    * Develops and maintains relationships with local and national press and other relevant media
6 @% }! M2 u) g0 e! `' k    * Creates and delivers community-based presentations on camp-related research and evaluation results
6 h6 n- p$ r4 @. _/ N5 B    * Provides support and advice on emerging LGBTTQ youth needs and trends to Institute personnel and partner agencies8 T/ a% u) N+ H

Qualifications
+ z( C! `5 Q: J7 q; ^
# S4 E5 @, R4 r: a" `    * Post Secondary diploma in a related discipline such as education, human services, community development or social sciences; Bachelor's degree in education, social work, psychology, or a related professional discipline preferred
4 e7 Q1 {" p6 n( _$ O! y8 I    * Three to five years background experience in youth programming and/or community development with a particular emphasis on sexual minority youth
7 q  w8 R. L) h* }    * Experience working with Aboriginal and ethnocultural communities an asset
4 R% y7 H9 Y! ^* E) H    * Knowledge of violence and bullying prevention, harm reduction, and youth advocacy strategies) n3 I0 D. b6 t3 p( y1 H
    * Demonstrated experience in the development of youth educational programming, community outreach, and conflict resolution skills( \) g- g$ |5 y' K* B# s) Y
    * Knowledge and experience in fund development, volunteer management, proposal writing, and special event planning; c* R, f& ~" ]5 P6 ^8 }' _5 \8 u
    * Demonstrated skills in program/donor communication, development of information, education and communication material (including web-based documentation)+ _; d% M2 A7 Z; M$ Y3 U6 ~
    * Excellent communication (oral and written) and analytical skills
