EDMONTON - One man is dead and another is in hospital after a pickup truck rolled in northeast Edmonton this morning.! V- Z6 M$ [$ X/ S/ H
Police said they attempted to stop a truck after it stunted, spinning its tires in front of a cruiser, at 139th Avenue and Victoria Trail shortly before 2 a.m.
6 l. i; @+ m: m$ [Officers lost sight of the truck, but caught up to it about a minute later. It had hit a curb and rolled at 139th Avenue and 23rd Street. The driver was ejected and was killed.& J! D, E' T7 D& a x7 V6 x" v
The male passenger suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries. Speed and alcohol are being blamed for the crash.$ |7 u, H+ ^. Z+ v5 c% I
