I do not think Firefox is faster than IE. There are more viruses to IE just because it's more popular and Firefox is pretty new. If FireFox occupies 80% of the market, who knows what will happen. It's nothing about ActiveX technology. There is nothing that is bulletproof. + f/ Z# u7 K/ T0 }, M# [1 G7 I, H" ^+ N
So just choose based on your own needs.
For whatever reason, Firefox should be safer, I am not saying faster though. But spyware/adware can make your computor very slow. Check you folder:0 G* c5 A7 i% b3 `$ f

All of them are just cookies. If you do not like the activeX, in XP, you can just disable it in the IE configuration.$ ]# P/ H9 H1 T/ D" x, k! ?
