Position: Youth Services Coordinator
Full Time Position: (35 hours per week)

+ k% I8 v9 d8 VResponsibilities
  H2 V4 M1 C( Z7 {8 Ho        Accountable for Towards  A New Generation (T.A.N.G.) youth program
o        Writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth program
+ ~% H; Y5 T" J+ W& R) }1 r# n6 ]o        Supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
o        Coordinate, develop, and manage a summer youth program
o        Liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
o        Train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
0 R' R0 [( s$ no        Accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
) b5 J$ N  X2 Zo        Demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
* V( d, w; T$ K* r- L4 e& Lo        Participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
( [& Y; F8 u, \& g; ?o        Be open and willing to explore new ideas
o        Work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
o        Be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
o        Degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
. K- [5 s; U  U8 Ao        Good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
o        Experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
* t+ r* R' z, a6 c- \( `o        Leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
/ g* L9 C: Z' |: n  i& O( v- ^8 Xo        Willingness to learn
