Position: Youth Services Coordinator

o Accountable for Towards A New Generation (T.A.N.G.) youth program0 v7 j! ]( C, k1 w4 _3 A! I
o Writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth program
6 J. o6 z t/ O4 b( B6 zo Supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program7 }. ~9 ?6 I3 ~* A+ \
o Coordinate, develop, and manage a summer youth program. I/ m1 g* N, B5 R3 i
o Liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program% M$ W9 E W5 O( E, N8 T1 m8 H3 a
o Train in areas of management, organization and fundraising8 K' B; a) N) u5 R$ M( M/ G
o Accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model& [* f" U, r1 P, J
o Demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
; Q9 r5 @) t* t3 e, }) R: co Participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
) [$ W5 A7 y' W2 co Be open and willing to explore new ideas
. u" o* }6 w$ q$ y. l no Work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends

Qualifications% Z1 x$ y0 {5 ^" b+ U: N
o Degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
5 f+ `* c- ^1 C! _2 Co Good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
* g! F* X: r. h/ Q& Jo Experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
0 R' P4 j/ w4 F0 Co Leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
& T! l- r" d4 l6 O% N8 |o Willingness to learn
