when someone tells me sth. sad or bad, i want to say sth, but the funny mistake I made is : sorry about that.+ z7 }# C+ v& P) b# U' h

不对呀,楼上的,当我说"sorry about that",人家的回答是:it's not your fault. 1 z- ]% {, b! j/ B ) z! K4 f; ^9 e- ?很显然:sorry about that 的意思绝非:听到这消息很遗憾或很抱歉,而且"很对不起",因此人家会说:这不是你的错.& u( i! ~' p/ P* K

这也就是我发贴的问题.
"I am sorry" or "Sorry about that" is the simplified usage of "I am sorry to hear that". Although the respones is " It's not your fault," IT IS NOT YOUR FAULT!
