Responsible for activities related to design, space planning, layout, and

Coordinates and implements detailed space plans to address customer space

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (in order of importance. Other duties may

1. Consults with Sales Team in the layout, design and space planning of% A" G, I1 e. f {! M1 L
furniture specifications for client offices. Travels to client’s location to, T4 `. O7 d3 p' W

2. Performs programming, space planning, furniture selection, layout, casework,) f- q' b; k7 ?+ T+ O
product pricing, design and selection of fabrics and finishes, includes as-built/ s8 V) }( v& b' r( Z
drawings, block plans, space plans and finished working drawings for3 e. m m. S4 u+ c3 K' n' V. b9 W* U
specification and installation.0 j# O" ?* @3 K$ ^% r& g( w
3. Provides professional customer interface by attending client planning4 b2 o, P/ R' s& |
meetings to determine furniture needs and develops solutions to meet these

0 i( T: |' O l+ O4 {# ]( @3 V4. Offers technical design and creative consultation to customers by answering
6 j! K( U( g3 p, l! ~( T$ Zroutine and highly specialized questions regarding furniture systems.

plans. Prepares presentation material including color finish boards. Reviews job

checks.

7. Develops project specifications, double checks specifications against plans,

8. Verifies the company design standards have been met. Provides on-site job

9. Tracks, records and ties design hours to specific projects for job costing.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design with a minimum of two (2) years in a
) E# I: ~( j; E9 M* g9 o! x/ mrelated field; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and0 D/ |6 v- y( j: U
experience required. Prior experience in office furniture industry, general) X( ]$ _9 t: [
knowledge of systems furniture, and experience in customer interaction required.

Experience with furniture design and specification software required.
