" J4 @5 z6 y" J1 H" \Foreign Ministry spokesman Arye Mekel says a plane is on the way to southern China carrying clothing, medical supplies, generators and tents for victims of the May 12 earthquake.

Mekel estimated the shipment was worth US$1.5 million and said it was due to arrive in China later today. z% d9 X: L R' P/ [6 ]

The earthquake has left at least 62,664 people dead and an estimated five million homeless.
