Maybe you're looking at the antonym - opposite meaning. Thus the antonym for "awesome" could be "terrible". The meaning of "terrible" has therefore, an opposite meaning of  "awesome". Apologies if that didn't make sense. But just look carefully.
"Awesome" means awe-inspiring meaning it takes your breath away; breathtaking; magnificent; impressive.

# Y8 ^; Y3 r4 F* \) m可以和cool互相替换 但赞赏的意味更加强烈
- f( f# d$ i, s也可以和sweet互相替换 但感情的东西更少一点

, T  P0 F( D  B要是别人说你 he is a cool guy 那表示他认同你
若是说he is an awesome guy 那则是很欣赏你
