6 x6 P+ q7 a0 U0 x9 ]Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
Responsible for specialization in workstation image management
Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
Provides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
Works within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff

Develops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP
- W9 r. y. c) o( M0 @0 }. SDevelops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS
Designs, develops and implements MySQL relational databases
Qualifications
Two year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
" P6 c) j- s! G' d: V4 ]% E9 J1 mRecent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
Minimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)

Ability to work independently and in a team environment and under pressure
