Duties
- I+ G% I. N) Y" ~8 X( dWorks within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
; F7 g: l3 d# ` yResponsible for specialization in workstation image management" P6 x E1 p6 a0 _+ B
Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers& _8 i: E( V/ o- J& y" _+ D; q
Provides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
8 D: G( g$ B/ F4 N4 k# ~/ ^* s' y7 A1 HWorks within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
5 D9 K" T. R7 }3 E2 L1 aEdits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System" Q1 _: ]% u, E& g+ c
Develops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP
& Y% i2 x. a P2 Z8 Q1 z% Z- D$ ZDevelops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS4 L' T, @+ T, b( x
Designs, develops and implements MySQL relational databases

0 m1 G' L5 O+ ?7 FRecent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
1 b& _# n2 \" f! {. lMinimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations: k9 v+ T4 O( q5 h# N3 D9 A
Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
