Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele6 F. H6 X0 B; x- K
Responsible for specialization in workstation image management
( {9 }4 E9 z4 {0 t2 y3 d! ~( IResponsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
( ?5 v8 | _$ zProvides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
) v# d: v$ e7 \" r* VWorks within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff

Develops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP5 r! u! F& _# J1 s% z4 k
Develops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS3 V$ m" z9 v7 N: ^( f9 r. }
Designs, develops and implements MySQL relational databases$ B W' B S; E

Two year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program+ P3 D0 Q: _- v
Recent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
9 `' `# n8 f$ B+ b6 J5 h0 f% DMinimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations* O5 J r0 V& W# L W3 O6 C( g0 E
Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
