Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele; r2 M' \: F) B7 h3 x( c7 @. C
Responsible for specialization in workstation image management- c% B. }& ~- [* j1 X
Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers+ f) T! P5 r K* P. u
Provides help desk and on-call (after hours) support8 K, f. i; H7 k" V
Works within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff- m; z6 X# X. q8 s" F4 l. @
Edits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System/ _) Y, t k- W9 P2 f( I$ U! R& @
Develops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP* j' m0 l D h! s, L3 ?; u
Develops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS( N; A8 L0 l) R
Designs, develops and implements MySQL relational databases2 }" Q. U, x' O# J
Qualifications* H* A& ^' G9 {# v1 m# u+ ]
Two year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
. i u3 T! F( j. t8 C- yRecent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
+ w/ H$ ^8 P6 q' n1 n5 k! y- RMinimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
. U l9 ?0 k: c4 i% D' l8 _/ yExperience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL). e5 [+ R A6 i% e- t j4 {
