Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
Responsible for specialization in workstation image management
; e2 q$ ^7 i0 z  k6 [* {( ZResponsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
Provides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
3 Q7 C  @6 X" F- E- b6 W) P3 JWorks within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
Edits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
* l' m' }/ V1 {6 t5 E) j  KDevelops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP
Develops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS
$ ]! Y- J; B6 d- LDesigns, develops and implements MySQL relational databases
Qualifications
Two year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
Recent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
& o# _5 \+ p& O9 qMinimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
/ ~7 C# K: z% F! g/ O2 WStrong analytical, diagnostic, written and oral communication skills
