- assist with providing counter services and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker
; o, ?) ^8 z; l9 c! n4 q3 F) T. O# f5 Q- reports to the program manager and provides clerical support to all members of the ISP team

Qualifications:
8 ~( q; C3 {6 u1 R f- post secondary diploma % h" ~) X, D3 m# H, ?. j* D
- customer service and office clerical experiences. {5 u6 C% b1 H6 G
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset

- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to provide services for Chinese community
2 E7 ^/ H" Y, i8 U- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services
8 j8 m7 s f4 b( O# h- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services, K7 ` q# P6 c2 J
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies) ^ h' N* M7 n0 a
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members
' h; f% q [& f1 C" O- update ASSIST website/ k6 [, h) F: I+ Z. J7 b- R
- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre4 {" z6 v. O( _+ E/ _
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services
+ A$ X j: \, v, T) ]1 k- assist in writing proposal for ISP
! N, d+ \" |" ^. k" k6 Q- write quarterly and final reports for ISP

- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

Qualifications
4 d) [ I) Q- b \( |- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education 8 D0 u. l' o/ h% h( ` {+ a1 q* I
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills' r3 S; D. S+ L9 y( z
- experience in community work and immigrant services* e/ }6 f+ K! g, i; A. f. \3 g
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset {% e" ?4 k! T5 ^: z
