: q4 U4 l+ v! j5 nThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for8 k% L/ d0 L3 `1 D) `
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.1 y( c7 Q+ K/ [' M! V

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
* S% L* ^" \ i. K# _( lof Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different
1 F7 \; k$ \+ Z( K) tcertified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.
