EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association，就是我们加入的那个协会）在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。6 c9 ]4 I+ ]* F
/ h5 d. B: `8 m# j7 p5 g时间：上午9点至12点理论培训，下午1点至4点实习。

This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for, b0 D/ D5 E, S/ k/ N
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.4 R: d1 O6 w# I) u8 N4 }, _! H
, l- e3 M5 T# W/ e% y: u
Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
5 _# }! `- r- [of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different5 s+ {, O" ?* W \* s% p% v
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.$ }+ O; ^7 x9 s2 b5 `2 |" u1 G
@9 A5 Y) h: _1 T' oCertified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
