EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association,就是我们加入的那个协会)在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。

时间:上午9点至12点理论培训,下午1点至4点实习。# _; M" G2 b2 l6 \4 r5 S& c2 I2 I

; n/ l0 W6 p1 S9 s) AThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
. L% H( ^' [* sbecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

! Q) W9 I! K# L& P6 ITrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials$ a$ ^7 p2 `, j! u/ q5 i9 H$ l
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different3 Q9 s4 k3 z7 n4 M3 r
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.
