Position Overview: Under minimal supervision, work as a technologist in a startup biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) in Edmonton. Responsible for the execution of experiments in a laboratory using well-established techniques. Other duties include routine lab maintenance and assist with ordering.

& {7 D* w& ?' C3 G$ ?0 h# fExtensive experience in mammalian cell culture is required, in particular high-throughput or large-scale environment.

3 C  v" X1 o6 @2 }$ r7 QPractical knowledge of common molecular biology techniques is desirable, particularly in PCR, plasmid construction, DNA sequence analysis and western blotting.

Have good record keeping habits and abilities, suitable to maintain accurate and complete records.

Ability to precisely follow written and verbal directions.

Previous industrial working experience is a great asset.
