Biotech Technologist Position Available

Position Overview: Under minimal supervision, work as a technologist in a startup biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) in Edmonton. Responsible for the execution of experiments in a laboratory using well-established techniques. Other duties include routine lab maintenance and assist with ordering.

% `8 k" k1 d S: PSkills and Abilities Required
& e( q; m k: q8 Z9 b7 MExtensive experience in mammalian cell culture is required, in particular high-throughput or large-scale environment.
! I+ r# T9 x' I6 j# l; s) S
- h2 O0 J4 |9 v0 H3 }. i" {2 I3 VPractical knowledge of common molecular biology techniques is desirable, particularly in PCR, plasmid construction, DNA sequence analysis and western blotting.
