ATGCell Inc., a spin-off biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) of the
University of Alberta, is focusing on the production and service of
' W' _, z* I$ l+ A- a3 O& N3 f4 H1 H2 Vrecombinant proteins and stable cell lines. To further develop our
3 ?* i- T) v+ P6 N. v3 v- i/ i8 ]technology, we are currently seeking a highly-motivated researcher with
2 S. T+ @9 z6 q5 @% {strong track record in molecular and/or cellular biology and willingness
to apply for government funding with us.

$ F/ b* Y5 s  q& R! I) t' S+ T8 vQualified candidates should have a PhD or MS degree within 5 years or will
obtain one within 2-3 months, in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a
related field. Extensive experience in protein expression and purification
from bacterial or eukaryotic sources, and/or in mammalian cell culture, is
0 T! k6 F. h& U8 ^3 jrequired. Familiarity with recombinant DNA techniques, including PCR, DNA
cloning and mutagenesis is also required. Prior experience in protein
& x- ^' O/ W' Q# j3 X+ b- ^3 G  dover-expression in insect cells/yeast, or large-scale protein purification
is a good plus. The position requires excellent organizational skills with
8 q- D: I5 G1 l% G; ?- D; ]the ability to work independently and multi-tasked along with keeping
accurate and complete research records.
