University of Alberta, is focusing on the production and service of

Qualified candidates should have a PhD or MS degree within 5 years or will
3 \! n8 e6 @# f/ F6 [obtain one within 2-3 months, in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a/ `4 q7 J8 _9 h, g3 O4 [
related field. Extensive experience in protein expression and purification2 Z; L; X" k% R: z6 f
from bacterial or eukaryotic sources, and/or in mammalian cell culture, is
# ~, `& Y+ \$ r% V$ drequired. Familiarity with recombinant DNA techniques, including PCR, DNA
' Q, x# z* `, {7 g1 }5 ocloning and mutagenesis is also required. Prior experience in protein
# f' c+ Z3 x. D, A0 w3 P7 F1 q: P: aover-expression in insect cells/yeast, or large-scale protein purification# I# G9 @! K4 a1 T' ] d
is a good plus. The position requires excellent organizational skills with
/ `: d$ e T# T# Pthe ability to work independently and multi-tasked along with keeping+ F; [$ W7 B F
accurate and complete research records.
