ATGCell Inc., a spin-off biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) of the
+ h" L& A0 I5 t3 T9 X6 AUniversity of Alberta, is focusing on the production and service of
recombinant proteins and stable cell lines. To further develop our
  ~' B% X6 f/ X7 g% ttechnology, we are currently seeking a highly-motivated researcher with
strong track record in molecular and/or cellular biology and willingness
to apply for government funding with us.

Qualified candidates should have a PhD or MS degree within 5 years or will
obtain one within 2-3 months, in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a
related field. Extensive experience in protein expression and purification
from bacterial or eukaryotic sources, and/or in mammalian cell culture, is
+ E/ S. w1 C. arequired. Familiarity with recombinant DNA techniques, including PCR, DNA
cloning and mutagenesis is also required. Prior experience in protein
; M2 k8 @0 ^- Q, v% U! Eover-expression in insect cells/yeast, or large-scale protein purification
9 t; j' e, v  P0 t8 J$ X/ k$ M' his a good plus. The position requires excellent organizational skills with
the ability to work independently and multi-tasked along with keeping

salary for the successful candidate will be 55-60K/yr depending on
