Qualified candidates should have a PhD or MS degree within 5 years or will9 N8 B% c: x p% U" w2 }' K
obtain one within 2-3 months, in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a
+ c9 `6 `8 |4 D# Irelated field. Extensive experience in protein expression and purification+ d$ Y, O$ y! `8 `2 F+ C1 J1 c+ {+ G
from bacterial or eukaryotic sources, and/or in mammalian cell culture, is2 a9 ?# {9 w0 |+ Z$ t
required. Familiarity with recombinant DNA techniques, including PCR, DNA
/ z0 A' [ @/ y( C) k, \+ \cloning and mutagenesis is also required. Prior experience in protein0 p/ H0 h- O$ n- ~% E! r+ a
over-expression in insect cells/yeast, or large-scale protein purification
3 \' Z- L0 `* n6 m& |is a good plus. The position requires excellent organizational skills with& t; @) {) U) |" ~% |4 y
the ability to work independently and multi-tasked along with keeping5 n- w0 m m' c# Z4 ]* [7 p
accurate and complete research records.

funding, such as the Alberta Ingenuity Fund R&D Associate. Anticipated
