INGREDIENTS:

PREPARATION:
! m \, \4 J6 q& IBeat butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients; add to cream mixture alternately with beaten eggs, beating well after each addition.
: F2 b3 f* \7 [% [9 k! Y- FTurn into greased and floured 8-inch tube pan or 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan. 1 Y; d" D' T. M; @8 r
Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes in the pan then turn out onto a cake rack. Cool and glaze or frost as desired. Store tightly covered.

5 n) h$ x" r# u7 KFor beating, you can buy a simple Hand Mixer for about $10. It can not only be used for making cakes but also bread, or mashed potatoes(土豆泥)ect. |
