INGREDIENTS:

• 1 cup sugar

• 1 1/2 cups sifted flour ( if you don’t like the trouble, use all-purpose flour)

• 4 eggs, well beaten

Beat butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients; add to cream mixture alternately with beaten eggs, beating well after each addition. x9 q M1 `+ u
Turn into greased and floured 8-inch tube pan or 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.

/ F3 _/ J+ ~5 aI normally strictly follow the amount for each ingredient the recipe calls for, except SUGAR( I prefer to cut it to ¾ or 2/3 of the recipe. It is too sweet for some Chinese. But if you like the sweetness of the Cake Mix you got from super market, you can follow the recipe.) z/ u3 j8 d ?7 I
