烤蛋糕
INGREDIENTS:& f6 ^# K5 ?3 l2 K: M
• 1/2 cup butter : p, o8 K$ `' v- N' ~4 Y" X% E/ W
• 1 cup sugar % V! t5 z% ^! c: D6 o3 Q
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (if you like the flavor, otherwise, none)
6 T. T% |/ t# t• 1 1/2 cups sifted flour or all purpose flour (former is better)
0 S, f) W, L" t" \7 n K• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder & B( n& e* j2 P# l# Y% }; X
• 4 eggs, well beaten

PREPARATION:2 D- ^, P& Q) R; E* j7 J( _
Beat butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients; add to cream mixture alternately with beaten eggs, beating well after each addition.
6 z: z, f# R8 E/ h, zTurn into greased and floured 8-inch tube pan or 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
1 q+ q% K. k- W+ b/ A- LBake in a preheated 350° oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes in the pan then turn out onto a cake rack. Cool and glaze or frost as desired. Store tightly covered.& T, @0 [, r* e% i. {8 H" N, V6 ]
; @# J: h! u5 O6 ~7 ?% ~这是yellow cake,我最喜欢的,又简单。ingredients 我一般比较严格执行,否则变味,但是我通常要把糖的用量减至3/4到2/3,洋人用糖量太大,太甜了。但如果你认为cake mix的甜度适合你的口味,就用上述的量。
$ r! b2 i/ g* ?6 Y5 v6 f Qbeating,要用mixer, 一般的$10左右的hand mixer 就可以。烤蛋糕,面包,或做土豆泥等都用得上。

检查是否烤熟的办法: 用牙签插一下cake中间,若没有什么粘在牙签上就熟了。 |
