的是一份执着，要的是你的参与，盼望的是你的捧场。

First call for actors -- CSSA Evening Party for 2008 Chinese New Year! Z* J! h+ a; O: [! W
7 e# @% ?( O/ |+ ?" ?- X. zThe Chinese Students and Scholars Association (CSSA) at the University2 e- L" j' e( F ^
of Alberta will be holding a Spring Festival Evening Party around the3 a7 }5 b% g1 B# e/ T" \0 n* v: `
eve of Chinese lunar New Year to add the diverse community Chinese
j% U9 Q) k4 v( s. D, N cultural activities. This event is not only a reminder of food, fun and
( \$ F) F% Y) L5 s customs, but also a very good opportunity to wipe out our homesickness on
# V% s3 E/ q- R2 f% Q this broad land.+ s& F0 x- u5 @; e% W* p
* P7 B3 z$ X; O3 E3 t7 P. X7 q; i2 sWe encourage students and scholars who are interested in performance to
1 p* E; i/ g8 X, ` contribute to the evening party by showcasing your abilities and- D8 a" Z7 K( F) u' U$ S) }4 O8 {
talents. Although we have no luxurious dressings and professional skills in
6 g; p) A* s; O$ {- R C: X1 r performing arts, the most critical point we have is our passion to show
; \' w1 W2 Z" Y ourselves such as any topic related to our life and studies in
/ U" O7 ]9 Z" S W: G" n( i Edmonton. Please come and join us to fill up the party. It’s going to be a

As far as your prospective programs are concerned, they can be songs
) v2 c& @: j/ I sung by a single singer or multiple singers, song and dance (Ge Wu)," z6 n; w9 V. ^; y9 K9 }/ S$ s9 ~& V
stand-up comedy (Xiang Sheng), skits (Xiao Pin), drama (Hua Ju) or any0 ^/ `. T$ z e
performance with instruments (e.g., piano). It would be great if your0 ~8 F$ s' o8 ?0 K; p, a, q- Z8 [
program could reflect our society. If you have a play for skits, stand-up$ _8 `& H- H& ]' j
comedy or drama to present, please contact CSSA for performance since
1 {6 j6 V9 g7 F6 ? u CSSA executives want to have a show collectively.5 U3 f$ E) D" x y8 D3 s! ^' V

Meanwhile, a host is needed for the evening party. Volunteers are also
! b) t+ t+ {4 i% N+ j/ I& w on demand to work on the stage to assist lighting and audio system# Q, g4 z$ K* i }; S
control.
