的是一份执着，要的是你的参与，盼望的是你的捧场。

First call for actors -- CSSA Evening Party for 2008 Chinese New Year! S& A" A( ]8 h
1 y7 J- r4 N+ @# @3 g$ x: EThe Chinese Students and Scholars Association (CSSA) at the University4 Q' z; m& D) E* K
of Alberta will be holding a Spring Festival Evening Party around the
9 T; F8 `& q% r' `- u& j, ], X eve of Chinese lunar New Year to add the diverse community Chinese1 l. }! u2 _8 ^1 n# F
cultural activities. This event is not only a reminder of food, fun and+ s2 z/ O l2 `8 l
customs, but also a very good opportunity to wipe out our homesickness on
6 Z9 s2 x7 p6 g( R4 l3 G this broad land.$ m: N2 m4 k x' H- J7 X- \: A
+ n1 e/ [- J" W2 h4 HWe encourage students and scholars who are interested in performance to( _( S9 ?" Z* Q7 i8 Q0 K
contribute to the evening party by showcasing your abilities and
! i& j4 T6 k$ d6 H& B% Z, D talents. Although we have no luxurious dressings and professional skills in
8 D' c3 ~/ P" L7 J9 V0 K" D performing arts, the most critical point we have is our passion to show% x% ]. L" V2 l* K. I# \1 B. v
ourselves such as any topic related to our life and studies in
& o; [8 |/ Z0 N, K, q1 L+ f Edmonton. Please come and join us to fill up the party. It’s going to be a3 x0 i+ {' G- `: d9 }$ W; A
lot of fun, like what we did before.! h8 e' E& x" A$ ?# B

As far as your prospective programs are concerned, they can be songs
. i1 i& h$ }# V3 d f# k sung by a single singer or multiple singers, song and dance (Ge Wu),
; D% J4 ?8 V# m) o: m# s% R stand-up comedy (Xiang Sheng), skits (Xiao Pin), drama (Hua Ju) or any7 E) x2 ?1 M2 Q; L8 W) q3 H' A
performance with instruments (e.g., piano). It would be great if your
, Q& N( ~3 k/ J program could reflect our society. If you have a play for skits, stand-up
* t, m2 E' _' C! J9 w$ ^9 }) U comedy or drama to present, please contact CSSA for performance since2 r E' l7 B+ ^* }! _9 u
CSSA executives want to have a show collectively.

9 w! _6 }9 M5 p, j8 Z' ~Meanwhile, a host is needed for the evening party. Volunteers are also& x0 |' b4 x0 ]3 w& F2 ^
on demand to work on the stage to assist lighting and audio system4 k0 m+ v. a" z3 m4 Q3 e
control. $ N+ l, ]0 u2 E# \5 y
