Staff

• provide leadership to staff and volunteers

' F4 m+ ?, h$ e) B• monitor progress of agency service providers and coordinators

• overall management of all agency projects/programs and services

• set program priorities and directions

• act as community liaison and cultural broker between the immigrant community and other communities& n+ S3 B# w# \# x4 e- ]
• build, maintain strong relationships with all levels of governments, businesses, community groups, public & funders

• coordinate and monitor significant programs through liaison/partnership with other community groups1 ?; ~5 @5 T+ h
• advocate, educate, promote cross-cultural respect & understanding of immigrants, visible minorities & other at risk or multi-risks groups
( z [8 c; S# `. ?, R• work with community and social agencies/groups to raise awareness of systemic issues affecting people from a broad socio-economic spectrum to social policy makers and to lobby for social changes in society, legislation and systems./ [( g1 ^3 K, r l8 s5 ]1 t
• Identify funding opportunities and resources that enhance the agency programs/services and staff) P, l$ h4 h8 I$ U

- University degree in a related field; K" G, \7 j# x. N; p4 T3 C' ^
- Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit / voluntary organization;" I3 z5 \$ X# W: n1 x4 D: F
- Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
0 I! a4 |. S. m( {9 ^- 2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization
