increases the tuition fee by few percent every year and international 3 x% a x2 V; {; @
differential fee was increased by almost 20% last year. Add to this,

exactly for the same amount of money that we were offered in our ! U+ o P- x+ Y
admission letter (18000 CAD + 1500 CAD for international students
( w0 X9 |4 j3 c. b8 |=19500CAD. What I get is something around 1000CAD/month!!! after ) |: a' {& Z2 P0 k3 `
tuition fee and taxes). To make the argument easy to understand just : `! e- m/ B0 U# }
imagine that a new student gets the same amount of money that I am 2 R' C' }9 Z9 \2 o4 F0 B8 A
getting now and I was getting 3 years ago but he or she (like all of
0 U1 P$ ?' S; y1 [+ kus) has to pay twice as much as I was paying for housing when I was , N. `+ S5 {! Q/ y

My objective in bringing all abovementioned points in your attention
9 g, E: D5 @! O1 Ris to question the adequacy of financial aid for graduate and $ @! J& y1 w" D. _
especially international students. Isn抰 it time for the GSA to take
* r3 f( M) G3 q/ Q! i) ^ 5 z) C9 G9 S r# P' A7 i: s6 A
initiative in raising the issue of increasing financial aid for 2 ~" I& {" }* |: b- I/ x
graduate students so that the can afford this increase in costs?/ G; L* P1 K, H5 p
/ v- U: l) b# N; c6 i1 U9 N) D" ~; r% PPlease come with your experiences and ideas., E. t. E7 q5 I( A
