JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Senior Operations Manager-
$ D- S) u3 T: b" Z! q$ PSU Print Centre and Operations Manager-Production & Technical
3 u" _$ i. D4 O+ ?' N( k2 bSupport, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects
- ]8 d9 d/ x x" F3 `0 ^1 |of Course Pack production.
! v0 r3 V, e% ]. b9 }- Z/ y2 b( r8 q7 [6 |( h! }
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
, n. r h# r8 d& C: A, o# w9 L1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning n; ]9 @5 `: L- `( t6 N
of paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing.( u( H0 w% ?6 s" F
7 `5 K3 f. N5 N0 h8 J9 K$ N
2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including
# G6 f9 k3 `* \0 [, h" oprint queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.* J$ D; ]7 [) G2 X; B2 e
5 V9 t1 p% m& ?0 b" R. p3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of 2 {1 @8 N6 D9 I- p" o
course packs. This includes following operational procedures and & r% h9 O7 r! w- K: F1 L
keeping appropriate and accurate records.

5 o* c( t; x: E% h/ ~ |; ~& b4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment

5) To develop a working knowledge of Access Copyright requirements,

QUALIFICATIONS:7 ]! D" j6 Q2 x! o* S t l0 z$ t
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
; `: l# ?. s3 c) l9 I3 X2 D2) Attention to details. Excellent organizational and communication
/ }# b& h8 A* oskills.2 `$ G( H: K ^: a6 d( p9 K5 m( S4 B
, c* D! T2 S% X9 J# r- @' @3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful.

8 V6 s7 g! V; o4) An aptitude for technical problem determination and resolution.

5) Ability to work in high stress environment.

6) Experience in print industry an asset but not necessary.* A# B6 \1 f2 H% x* c8 a
