SU Print Centre and Operations Manager-Production & Technical # n. ?4 z; V8 U& w! c& ^% E% C
Support, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects . P! s0 e/ G8 ~
of Course Pack production.: N$ K" ?* f" H5 [5 b* |/ T& g
; R; Z: R+ }! i8 I8 S1 J* y" ADUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
0 m% A. X" l7 F% x3 n! r1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning " i! ?) y( R1 N* ^9 z: R3 `! X) p
of paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing.. z2 L. X/ w& _. ^
8 C- F9 P W+ g! D& D/ }. X4 o2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including
/ H, G8 C% J, L$ m# W! @print queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.# [, E9 U" t- [9 ^6 i+ E4 [5 a
9 u6 O7 A9 {6 i3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of
+ \/ o, l7 m0 q" P) U. A) scourse packs. This includes following operational procedures and
! [7 ^6 H* H& s& m5 a! Okeeping appropriate and accurate records.# @/ I6 _) ^3 S1 K

4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment

5) To develop a working knowledge of Access Copyright requirements, 8 y, o& H; \2 w0 |; h4 J& `# N5 A

2) Attention to details. Excellent organizational and communication

3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful.
