JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Senior Operations Manager- : X+ d2 ]8 ^& t$ R
SU Print Centre and Operations Manager-Production & Technical
7 o* _, l$ L: `0 CSupport, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects 4 A( V0 R: l5 P$ U- {- ~
of Course Pack production.
) m5 J; j# M9 D( j4 p# ]; h$ i! R5 B' _5 U$ X. n
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* ~+ ?6 `5 l T2 d% v w4 T1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning
3 _0 X% Y& o# H3 t% s4 Wof paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing.; {8 x# h6 |& ~) _) I
4 c, t' R' P5 |& N0 ]7 L2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including # G+ y, ^7 E X3 E. I r: i
print queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.

0 r( [) o+ `5 }0 l3 w8 i1 Q% V3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of & C* D3 O) O; V2 {
course packs. This includes following operational procedures and

/ K3 ~8 d- {; I: E: t9 q6 e4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment

1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
2 B6 b! e+ e! k2) Attention to details. Excellent organizational and communication
C x6 x0 U% @% h# Jskills. Y$ c- \( \9 x
+ c$ ?0 `$ c9 s/ R) [! E9 I R3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful.0 Q O; q+ Z) k R8 v. V' M z

4) An aptitude for technical problem determination and resolution.% u/ q7 f: X+ I8 M2 C

6) Experience in print industry an asset but not necessary.
