JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Senior Operations Manager-
% h0 B9 v: T- q' C, aSU Print Centre and Operations Manager-Production & Technical ; Z" v2 ~5 W w/ B
Support, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects / ]* h8 o8 _1 i. G
of Course Pack production./ k1 v' w) a# q0 C0 x0 @2 H

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:! S Q, Y$ i8 Y4 ^$ G- Y
1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning
& Y/ c1 a# D+ D' Q+ ^7 D2 Xof paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing.+ W. c3 Q3 b# y- V2 n- I/ U
+ l4 Q( g' C. ]* @2 v2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including 4 b" W6 v& w7 w% i: c* I* I
print queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.7 e$ \7 q6 _; `8 Y2 Y, r
$ I- h; s- r1 j) d; i/ x2 q. h5 F
3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of
% S+ F' b* }' t5 Y) H" gcourse packs. This includes following operational procedures and
- k5 Y! d% c' q* Lkeeping appropriate and accurate records.

4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment
0 j' D# o, T }' d; w1 X$ k: `failures to the Operations Manager.

5) To develop a working knowledge of Access Copyright requirements,

1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.; I" l6 G! R* Z7 d
2) Attention to details. Excellent organizational and communication ' _; P: ~1 m7 x: F
skills.+ R' z3 [& Y! ~) q$ G; l
0 s2 M# i: J! m6 }# C8 m3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful.6 L' J% m9 ], s2 c
$ l& I; H+ I, o, A, r4) An aptitude for technical problem determination and resolution.

5) Ability to work in high stress environment." i( @2 D+ S/ a

6) Experience in print industry an asset but not necessary.
