FUNCTIONS:
" J* Q% W( w% R2 X, N• Transport passengers to and from destinations on prescribed scheduled routes.% F" ]8 Z! \8 z: \ Y% k
• Collect proper fare, issue transfers.
! T! u% x) w; D; p+ B; F8 }• Respond to customer queries concerning transit information.
: l7 h" M/ o* r8 a! @; }6 \• Operate a Transit diesel bus and/or trolley coach, on a day, night or split shift under varying weather

• Obey and follow defensive driving guidelines, local traffic laws and Transit system regulations.

• Grade eleven (11) or an equivalent educational level is required. Formal training in driving or public relations will be considered an asset.

) r; B5 s1 U5 H- ~) ~• Applicant must possess a valid class 5 Alberta Motor Vehicle Operator's license (non-probationary and non-graduated) and must have held a valid operator's license for (3) consecutive years.& L: a+ ^& a1 o0 ^9 {- U Z S4 r
• Selected applicants must pass the Alberta Motor Vehicle Operator's class 2 written test, at their own expense, prior to training.
& |6 {2 Z# c; w' }# F/ C7 z• Applicant must provide a current driver's abstract (obtained within 14 days of the video test date)

• Ability to pass a written English comprehension test, a public relations video-test, a driving skill

Various hours of shift work (straight or split shift), any time of the day, any 5 days of the week $ k- E/ |5 [% ~) C7 A' j/ `
1st year: Guaranteed minimum 67.4 hours bi-weekly/ C. N# M0 q3 Z$ W& ^$ J/ u
Thereafter: Guaranteed minimum 74 hours biweekly+ S- {6 s: k, }! m$ j

SALARY RANGE: 401, Salary Grade: 004 7 _% l+ @3 ]+ {! {, y F0 _" z( s
Training Rate: $16.56 Hourly
