Intermediate Accountant or A/P
! N  o" W7 _' M3 p/ {2 V6 rLocated in our Edmonton Head Office this position will report directly to the CFO.
5 ^7 K: Z: e" X  F* x. J$ v  _Incumbent must possess exceptional organizational and analytical skills, and be detail oriented. Duties will include:
- Process full cycle of A/P, include invoice coding, journal entry preparing and issuing cheques.
- Assist in pulling A/P information for custom & internal enquiry proposals
- Reconcile monthly bank transactions, credit card and GL accounts
7 p7 U& l. M2 q% P: o" X1 x$ p- All aspects of petty cash transactions
- Perform back up duties for the Store Administrators
2 J6 i" q  f( C# e2 u& ~- Monthly review and reconciliation of P.O and inventory
- Verify the accuracy of all cost information
7 o* e# @8 c* [; M9 b- Run monthly basic management report
- Other miscellaneous duties as required
2 n* D- T, U5 ?0 j# R/ RQualities that are essential to your success and ours include:
- Good communication and telephone skills, be well organized, and must be detail oriented.
4 L9 H! a6 O2 C4 O' g, X# h$ f+ a- A degree or diploma in Accounting or in the latter stages of a recognized Accounting designation.
4 U% |' i  K, d1 P! A, {$ W- Minimum of 1 year of related A/P and account/cost control experience.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) + ACCPAC
- Results oriented individual with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and timelines.
