work the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft
" y" V e& C( s& b. z3 _prep, door person, stagehand, and clean up.1 `& r; ^* G2 \
Chalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the" w; c# W4 { g- ?
artist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come.
- q( p1 [: d* iEnvironment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for
2 T$ z" Y6 m. zvisitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the+ ~$ _! j! s& }$ w$ L. l9 z7 \6 v
recyclables.. D& d. q+ i. b. Q1 u( T
Front of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be) U* L! U2 f0 b) B0 Q
part of the door crew for our three indoor theatre events. You must be able to work late into the evening.
$ l7 J& q* U) \Hospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing
2 J% }8 N* ^6 K, G$ uthem with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late

Office: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed
- g2 l6 a8 t5 v( y e- [) aevents and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the

# q% g# L: y: l+ o# o* w, B; TSite: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is
& c9 z' h$ ~ R' u/ woperating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you% q, O9 N5 g; A3 m$ q" F
are physically fit and ready for any emergency.
; O# \3 ?- ? V# n; e- p1 uStage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training9 Q; V' ^% i( [/ a1 M4 e8 O/ I9 m
and/or understanding of back stage procedures. W5 {* u9 s6 k9 ]2 ?" f6 G, N4 N( U0 _
Transportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be
& F3 L6 E: b" P5 h% J- p7 brequired), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as
3 s0 s/ m# P c9 X6 m' b7 G0 E4 Jairport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival9 B$ k$ E1 h! y6 L8 t
staff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
