Audience Services: Provides information, aid and security on the site for everyone participating in the E5 B5 q/ \- ?" {8 N: W
festival.
( ]2 c8 D' u% {( V* }Be Your Own Busker (ATB Big Top): Work with creative people who will teach patrons to juggle and& H- G. z! e/ u
work the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft
* E6 h7 T) c! Xprep, door person, stagehand, and clean up.
9 T" N+ x) I; [+ H# r5 WChalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the. A: d3 s* j6 p9 p- z
artist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come.
& R# _) J4 }7 E9 l! ~8 Q8 Y: _0 ^8 \Environment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for8 l" ?, h+ T8 j
visitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the
5 a/ E- A- @( z+ D" rrecyclables.5 b) A* Z( L$ H9 F6 U# X7 M
Front of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be
& U+ M4 M; k% l9 w! qpart of the door crew for our three indoor theatre events. You must be able to work late into the evening.
& Q, b: ~" ]1 ^# q! c/ i. lHospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing
6 t Y% C$ n$ R% m7 uthem with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late2 { n L1 r3 R6 S# ]: X
hours are part of this crew’s duties.
d9 t2 c p4 ~2 eInformation: Inside the Info trailer, volunteers on this crew know everything there is to know about the
- s7 }9 A2 q: g. ~+ Z( efestival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide
# s- }4 I0 q4 z# n: `' c# @! I2 O! uprograms to visitors to the festival.6 P& T3 v/ e# e
Kids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for$ p- v6 l/ b* r1 ?9 w
everyone coming to this area. Help our creative coordinators make this place an enjoyable experience.: l6 D) p* e2 Y) V% [" w
Office: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed; x0 D& _, o3 ~" j' M
events and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the4 K9 e% d6 ~% Y: q4 K0 \4 p
festival.5 c8 O2 q% _* `+ @% _- p* C3 k# h4 A
Site: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is9 C9 k4 f, W/ ~
operating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you
: P v9 a6 _% N( S5 W. fare physically fit and ready for any emergency.% ~2 X4 W3 D, [
Stage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training
& U) e$ m$ P) y4 P" `0 eand/or understanding of back stage procedures.
8 K, }7 k5 A7 W* j2 C5 WTransportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be
! D7 q% W- ]7 n# Q9 G- crequired), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as4 B+ Z, F9 N' |4 y' B3 |- ]2 f2 z
airport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival
2 L2 o1 E t3 E+ astaff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
