Audience Services: Provides information, aid and security on the site for everyone participating in the

/ c9 I3 ^$ p- Y0 A9 P; oBe Your Own Busker (ATB Big Top): Work with creative people who will teach patrons to juggle and- _; a2 ]3 g; S, X6 s; a @
work the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft
+ a: S6 o4 v4 @prep, door person, stagehand, and clean up.
" }: X$ w' P6 c8 S2 LChalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the& ]' i1 k9 O9 r% k3 r- i( u- E
artist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come.2 K* Z/ \3 Z' T5 a+ P& s' \& s
Environment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for0 x0 X$ D Q9 d3 n0 R. W( {
visitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the
) m+ T. J/ g. H: qrecyclables.
" o9 Z. i- r9 sFront of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be4 b- S6 _& [# b- C+ Y
part of the door crew for our three indoor theatre events. You must be able to work late into the evening.
1 Z0 q* M& b9 M0 x/ @- lHospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing
* f/ X7 z9 } ^2 H3 qthem with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late1 C0 {$ x/ M( H/ J: T
hours are part of this crew’s duties.) i8 _! }3 U. I4 Q3 A9 \
Information: Inside the Info trailer, volunteers on this crew know everything there is to know about the2 n, p7 i9 V! w- t/ t3 N4 ^
festival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide, h3 S9 \# h" w" p* i5 h
programs to visitors to the festival.
8 C$ a# u& N4 V, E. |* g+ PKids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for
; C( B. h$ @' K3 E" O6 r& @everyone coming to this area. Help our creative coordinators make this place an enjoyable experience.4 b, Q! v6 A8 L Q2 n
Office: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed
" q7 V# H+ ]4 a, wevents and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the3 Z! H l, c9 y7 b, o3 s! y! M1 B
festival.; F' b! Q% ]) H4 R8 d
Site: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is
5 g3 D# j% w. C; t: F" |operating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you
9 c0 u$ t/ M3 O D" V. w8 d8 }are physically fit and ready for any emergency.( p+ ~3 \0 w: Y" W2 _+ h2 W3 ^
Stage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training
/ m3 | d. v" dand/or understanding of back stage procedures.
) V" p& P: E; s' rTransportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be
/ C- B' h& J U8 P/ Arequired), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as0 L. Y9 m2 y3 o
airport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival
( l1 a/ i% `. K* B; mstaff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
