Audience Services: Provides information, aid and security on the site for everyone participating in the

Be Your Own Busker (ATB Big Top): Work with creative people who will teach patrons to juggle and/ N7 @6 d L. r- f \: B& C
work the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft
$ F: _: I- P, C8 _# C+ Uprep, door person, stagehand, and clean up.
; n4 s, l4 u- K: e0 QChalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the: G Q7 s* p1 C4 i0 m. t) Z
artist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come.2 U: @, i+ Y6 M2 H& ]- `
Environment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for6 D' W" @3 B8 s( o
visitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the; @! f. g' Q5 a
recyclables.
) n' t! S. W$ ^4 p. mFront of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be
1 X! E# N! E" u; ppart of the door crew for our three indoor theatre events. You must be able to work late into the evening.3 ?# X3 F. U9 p9 [# ]4 T7 j- \
Hospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing9 o& ]$ m' T% q9 X4 _9 V
them with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late3 l0 F: R/ n) t: B
hours are part of this crew’s duties.
, M) t; B5 h$ V7 q3 C* ZInformation: Inside the Info trailer, volunteers on this crew know everything there is to know about the/ h5 ^. _( O, M9 h* u
festival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide7 E# x4 ~5 D+ S; U, @3 d
programs to visitors to the festival.- V6 U6 b! r& e% j2 e2 B, p# C5 P
Kids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for
: r4 R) w6 l& m- K; Ueveryone coming to this area. Help our creative coordinators make this place an enjoyable experience.* J+ m4 g8 I. p& y' y
Office: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed( _ Q4 c! B& _; _6 u6 F
events and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the% c. [) e9 z# S1 Y4 g$ M
festival.+ Z2 D" \' A4 s) ^8 [2 [
Site: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is
, O8 ]! Z! }: ^- }# Doperating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you* l/ f( b8 V4 k7 O! `, O" S% T
are physically fit and ready for any emergency.7 k% x3 `: j0 v/ k3 ]
Stage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training
, u4 o3 C6 \* w% Xand/or understanding of back stage procedures.7 G; s6 Q3 M+ u8 ^% F! ]$ x+ u) s/ c
Transportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be* t2 R9 ] n8 a/ G: j
required), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as
* ?* y- l, ^$ r' Dairport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival
7 d; i$ Y% N. I! b6 fstaff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
