followings rare operatic performance.  The organizer has offered 2 free

SUB
theatre, U of Alberta, Jul. 21, Sat. at 1-4 pm.  The casts are led by 2

/ `6 v0 y( n) X  {  z0 ~instructors - Lau Wai Ming and Fong Suet Ying, both are Champions of
& U( l$ I9 I$ W3 O$ @the
6 H/ ?) \4 B5 g2 ACantonse Opera Contest in Hong Kong and was awarded outstanding
" L1 S& a+ w9 U- n2 @7 wAchievements
in Arts Education in the teacher category by the Hong Kong Arts
- f5 v$ b2 D# @Development
Council.  Children cast members are ranging from 6 - 15 years old.  The
) c) K' U/ W0 x
performance will be done in English with Chinese operatic music; plus a
few
9 T% ?& U/ \9 j" rsongs in well-known Cantonese Opera... The performance was done to
sold-out
$ G4 P3 f+ ?" |5 E/ c$ |) |9 fcrowds in various Hong Kong venues and received rave review from the
Hong Kong
