The University of Alberta Students´ Union has been contracted by the

* A4 ]* l. f5 T0 \3 ~targeting the issue of violence on Whyte Avenue. As a Brand
1 o/ e2 k" N7 W; E& X$ {8 eAmbassador, you will be part of a 5-person promotions team that will : P% D8 {) d' ^) B8 f* c
communicate our campaign messaging and distribute branded giveaways 0 L3 w. L/ ]8 _3 a+ ^% y( F
to patrons in and around nightclubs on Whyte Avenue*. For this part-

friendly, and sociable individuals who are comfortable in an

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:+ b; x Z2 k5 s" n
: o7 v# S7 ^. P2 |1) Distribute promotional materials for the "Be a Lover,
- ^5 L- q) p5 a8 M+ I( b4 Qnot a Fighter" campaign in and around bars and nightclubs on Whyte

2) Approach patrons in and around bars and nightclubs on
1 z- F- n0 y3 v/ A* d8 NWhyte Avenue* to discuss the issue of violence.

3) Communicate campaign messaging to patrons regarding
" _" ^4 D5 m. W" Q5 Vviolence on Whyte Avenue*.

6 @9 A8 ]! J0 J$ ~4) Assist in the implementation (including: distribution, + D& a2 r& ~) g1 d
setup, maintenance, and tear down) of street level advertising q! R- l9 K$ {1 Y

1 A& d: I0 `! K; ]5 x5) Conduct short onsite interviews with patrons when

QUALIFICATIONS:

1) Experience with onsite event-based marketing teams.

Remuneration: $30.00 / hour

time (probably June 27th 2007) during the week before their first shift.3 y- B$ @$ Q- y7 L7 c) t n* ?- n
