The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering are currently recruiting for the position of CAD Developer/Designer.

The salary to be paid will be $15 per hour for a 40 hour work week.

1 D/ E! r& j' i3 _! i6 |4 M  Fdevelop software add-ons for autocad by utilizing VBA, report and document findings, and assist Project Coordinator for the development of journal papers, research and gather information from construction trades for future design implementations.

Minimum understanding of construction methods
& g' \( u0 Y, P1 O7 f1 n
1 C1 F% N% q/ Q7 S* j  IKnowledge in Visual Basic or willing to learn VBA

7 K* H/ Q3 d5 r. g/ R$ tKnowledge in AutoCAD or ArchiCAD (a must)

! S9 n' D5 `- fBe enrolled in any Engineering undergraduate program as a full time international student – paying the differential fees

Please note - While this is a University of Alberta position – as the majority of the work will be done off campus – the successful student will require an off-campus work permit.
