JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
" k4 @+ j5 l1 n& _/ c1 g1 gpolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

% o" _3 o+ h) r) {, V. ]+ P) ODUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
, z, A1 Q2 \0 e: U3 {. ]! r3 g" J1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
( `3 o+ m% p: W* K, l/ O; w9 eand are University affiliated.

" J! Q4 L! Y, M- G3 n2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.
8 _) w- B$ P/ @! `4 X% l, n
3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
2 R" S0 K& o5 @+ L) Lof garbage.

4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

' ^0 J, b3 Q; d6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
$ c2 y  `' u  n% _. w2 Y
2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
0 r  x' F. n1 Y  L7 z2 L$ Xcalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.
