# \! j- ~( f! p( j8 h4 m" T5 @1.        Serve as a key business and licensing role within a cross-functional team for identification, evaluation and licensing of strategically important technologies.  
8 L- P! f% u; `* |' k: T9 u2.        Manage technology alliance activities, including the coordination of appropriate agreements’ execution, alliance negotiations, and post-deal compliance in China.  
' \/ D2 s: N$ x1 H4 J3.        Develop business plan and strategy to integrate new technology into existing global research and business platforms.

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES:

1.        MBA and/or advanced scientific degree in agricultural biotechnology related fields (such as plant molecular, cellular and developmental biology, genomics, and plant genetics, bioinformatics, etc.) are highly desirable.  
) s3 d. ~$ V: {) T4 R$ d2.        Proven experience in technology identification and licensing within China, or equivalent experience with biotechnology research and commercial licensing agreements is preferred.
0 O# a2 g  L" u* ]  f; {/ l3.        Working knowledge of Intellectual Property policies, including Chinese and international patent regulations and procedures would be advantageous.  
$ H( H6 y* w, N. P1 P4.        Productive business and scientific interactions and good relationships with major biotechnology institutes in China would be advantageous.
: I, n' l! Q6 N3 A5.        Able to work independently as well as cooperatively in a cross-functional and multi-cultural environment.  
$ d7 S/ a* ?  r6.        Strong written and spoken communication skills in both English and Chinese.
! v& @" J& Z$ K9 E7.        Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation and problem solving skills.
8.        Able to travel frequently within and outside of China.
