KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

6 x+ P4 u4 q1 [; x7 B9 g1. Serve as a key business and licensing role within a cross-functional team for identification, evaluation and licensing of strategically important technologies. 1 ?; T/ ^8 y( }0 b' _( e
2. Manage technology alliance activities, including the coordination of appropriate agreements’ execution, alliance negotiations, and post-deal compliance in China.
0 I1 s* f; v7 [/ X1 t3. Develop business plan and strategy to integrate new technology into existing global research and business platforms.

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES:

1. MBA and/or advanced scientific degree in agricultural biotechnology related fields (such as plant molecular, cellular and developmental biology, genomics, and plant genetics, bioinformatics, etc.) are highly desirable. 2 D. g3 T8 d" C; y1 o
2. Proven experience in technology identification and licensing within China, or equivalent experience with biotechnology research and commercial licensing agreements is preferred.
$ I5 [6 Q( q# ]5 C1 e# c/ W3. Working knowledge of Intellectual Property policies, including Chinese and international patent regulations and procedures would be advantageous. $ {6 C: B2 S% c8 J* I
4. Productive business and scientific interactions and good relationships with major biotechnology institutes in China would be advantageous.
$ R0 X) M0 F' w5. Able to work independently as well as cooperatively in a cross-functional and multi-cultural environment.
