1. Serve as a key business and licensing role within a cross-functional team for identification, evaluation and licensing of strategically important technologies.
& e# { b m2 y, O. R2. Manage technology alliance activities, including the coordination of appropriate agreements’ execution, alliance negotiations, and post-deal compliance in China.
, `7 `3 e: {2 N$ n' W3. Develop business plan and strategy to integrate new technology into existing global research and business platforms.

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES:
1 B- U" U6 I/ q: \0 u1 c. h& B6 |; x
1. MBA and/or advanced scientific degree in agricultural biotechnology related fields (such as plant molecular, cellular and developmental biology, genomics, and plant genetics, bioinformatics, etc.) are highly desirable. , x4 e6 _/ T0 f# C
2. Proven experience in technology identification and licensing within China, or equivalent experience with biotechnology research and commercial licensing agreements is preferred.3 L% W& x* L% Z, |3 Y- u
3. Working knowledge of Intellectual Property policies, including Chinese and international patent regulations and procedures would be advantageous.
* G7 \0 |; n! _' |4 y4. Productive business and scientific interactions and good relationships with major biotechnology institutes in China would be advantageous.

6. Strong written and spoken communication skills in both English and Chinese.
