JOB SUMMARY: Responsible to and under the general supervision of the

8 E/ | d+ A Vcarrying out the procedures necessary to maintain a high standard of

% w- l% g4 S( G' aDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;
% I- m7 B0 f' Y5 g9 B; t1) Provides table service by taking and delivering food and beverage # N6 A/ M4 u( Q
orders.

2) Responsible for ensuring that customers consistently receive a
C9 G9 Y# A( K: J! k; jhigh level of customer service offered with a positive attitude, in 1 j" \9 ]6 o9 A% y+ n
accordance with Students' Union policies.

3) Responsible for handling cash for the products sold and for the
% M6 Z4 W2 m, jtotal cash-out value of items sold on each shift.

. [& _' h& w! I" a8 o4) Responsible for maintaining table, room and bar area cleanliness, a& @& {: B0 d; i+ M! q
including regular bussing and wiping of tables, full ashtray removal 7 A7 J3 U4 W7 b+ ?' l! F- e4 s
and ensuring floor surface cleanliness.

5) Monitoring patron levels of intoxication and taking appropriate " ~: z& E: W/ b& Q1 r
action when necessary in accordance with established Server

6) To enforce the AGLC Liquor Control Act, the Capital Health ( E# g {6 {- }
Authority Act, U of A and Students´ Union regulations and policies.

7) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations

1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.. w2 x: [: O, w$ o1 D9 `
$ K& w( r4 W; O; q# X, r2) Minimum one year serving experience in a high-volume, food-based 7 H; }3 J. I' o: l) \( r
operation.
