Hours per week will be 20 - 30 - 20 during the first few weeks, then 30
: Q# r5 `* w( T! \# m$ w; Q- 35 per week during the busy period. There may be an opportunity for
the student to stay on a casual basis (10 - 20 hours per week) once the
school year starts.

Duties include: preparing for programs by working with current staff at
CIBS to secure and schedule various program requirements (off-campus
* Q: S  {# U- r  U$ R( ~7 Wvenues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,
etc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for
participants, assisting to orient participants to the University and

their program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,
" Z* _6 E3 v  c+ w$ }. [0 Lassisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking
  ^. Y! {8 O4 c# Y7 Vvenue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city
outings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city
excursions (does not involve driving or overnight week night
excursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or
functions; translating, revising or drafting program-related documents
such as schedules, itineraries, notices, correspondence, PowerPoint
presentations, program binders, evaluation forms, etc.

  Z: \% f: Q# }! e; IQualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in
Commerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate
fluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,
demonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake
a variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those
of co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management
skills; accuracy to detail; working knowledge of MS applications (Word,
& e2 z) o4 b" ]7 uExcel, PowerPoint and Outlook); administrative experience an asset,
2 Z& I6 H+ K3 A8 Z; S& Bexperience coordinating group activities an asset.
