venues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,
4 h$ N i- m8 ~5 }3 detc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for) f/ m$ f# y' \2 h1 G, i/ \
participants, assisting to orient participants to the University and
3 c/ G& @4 m7 F; btheir program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during( e# ?: `+ ?9 y' z4 B9 [) U) l* j- z
their program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions, ]+ f) X+ t* T" ]! v
assisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking
- E3 G; G, q! s Bvenue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city1 m h* x) o2 N$ @1 }- K9 b ]
outings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city3 k: e, a }0 [& h% f5 F# e
excursions (does not involve driving or overnight week night* t# m. E) Z' h2 W
excursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or! D/ i$ K3 I$ Y! T; u) k
functions; translating, revising or drafting program-related documents
# Q4 R" M8 I# k8 Nsuch as schedules, itineraries, notices, correspondence, PowerPoint6 Z6 |7 W; g8 C8 ?1 N5 E) M
presentations, program binders, evaluation forms, etc.

Qualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in6 d3 v+ Z% U! p+ w
Commerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate# v( ?3 E4 ]# Q9 m. Z+ R: o
fluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,1 _+ [% t/ C# [2 Y
demonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake* X9 V! O* e# G
a variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those
3 a: C- s" D9 |# jof co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management; F( I8 N3 |0 c
skills; accuracy to detail; working knowledge of MS applications (Word,
, \* e" r6 c2 ~) [& |1 RExcel, PowerPoint and Outlook); administrative experience an asset,2 x! a- y8 w( ^! Q# m9 E
