! j+ e' }" S; [: m$ [technicians, the candidate will work on the synthesis of intermediates
  Y. X+ D4 \! o9 x, M: |, x, ^) s8 Sfor use in chemical and biochemical research. Particular duties will
& p  p( Z% r3 m' E5 z" N9 vinclude carrying out chemical and/or enzymatic reactions and purifying
compounds by chromatography.

* N8 H0 s; Q5 H7 I9 E3 I; y$ xQualifications include successful completion of courses in organic
5 r0 E. h* B3 h* v5 g# iChemistry (Chemistry 263 or equivalent) and ideally biochemistry and
% c! Z. C' z% O5 n# y6 _analytical chemistry; familiarity with basic biology and chromatographic
separations important. Attention to detail and ability to work as part
of a team essential.
This position will provide the candidate with experience in biochemical
" m/ ?% ^) R. L! _: Uand chemical research and would be ideal for students who ultimately
: ^! j) o6 ~) d7 _hope to work in these areas.
