; }* X- \  s3 n8 C, S' }. VSalary to be paid will be $15.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Duties include: working closely with graduate students and research
technicians, the candidate will work on the synthesis of intermediates
/ a6 u8 c" I; V5 ^1 j( hfor use in chemical and biochemical research. Particular duties will
include carrying out chemical and/or enzymatic reactions and purifying
compounds by chromatography.

Qualifications include successful completion of courses in organic
Chemistry (Chemistry 263 or equivalent) and ideally biochemistry and
6 v! s6 U$ I- |* f3 Manalytical chemistry; familiarity with basic biology and chromatographic
separations important. Attention to detail and ability to work as part
+ F+ }) {0 G; G8 U* Tof a team essential.

and chemical research and would be ideal for students who ultimately
