( j  W% B$ o  H* m; vDuties include: working closely with graduate students and research
$ r9 d/ }3 j9 ?+ N2 jtechnicians, the candidate will work on the synthesis of intermediates
for use in chemical and biochemical research. Particular duties will
/ _: k4 O/ `, @/ A0 d  S7 ]4 S* |$ Minclude carrying out chemical and/or enzymatic reactions and purifying
8 I2 m5 X: e5 K3 Jcompounds by chromatography.

+ |( _- l1 x6 e, A# AQualifications include successful completion of courses in organic
% {9 Z) u. u% _Chemistry (Chemistry 263 or equivalent) and ideally biochemistry and
. S) Z" i, A8 [/ Panalytical chemistry; familiarity with basic biology and chromatographic
separations important. Attention to detail and ability to work as part
! Q7 d% F. C% A1 }# X' a% l' G, Iof a team essential.
This position will provide the candidate with experience in biochemical
and chemical research and would be ideal for students who ultimately
