/ ]( O+ H9 L* N& B- ?Statistics Canada is looking for a reliable individual for a part-time position to work evenings and
/ V a! n2 L' i( V h; ?& L$ x+ iweekend hours.
( r% B* b; _& V! K' j4 ], VYou will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of the Research Data Centre (RDC) computer1 c; | P; `, T8 B8 M. D
lab located on the University of Alberta campus as well as providing administrative support for the
. n: ^; @$ \- Hcentre.4 {- P. n R8 Q3 d
These responsibilities include:
) Q. O1 ]# l r+ n: M-Maintain the integrity of the security systems in the RDC.
/ X7 |- Q2 |2 e1 s6 M. ~-Provide basic support to clients on operating Window XP.
% Y9 W6 x2 h. ]6 @# y2 V-Provide general office administration support, such as filing, upgrading software and
! ~6 n9 [" f, E1 A; brenewing licenses, communicating with various university departments with respect to 6 M0 i# w, r4 H6 m' U: {1 k
facilities’ maintenance, etc.

- O& c$ J1 [( e. R-Successful completion of Bachelor degree in administration, business, computer sciences,
. s n; b# B2 I- Ieducation, economics, sociology, statistics or related discipline; or an acceptable combination

Knowledge/Technical competencies:' x- p' f) N, X
-General knowledge of the Microsoft Window operating system.4 `5 p) A+ Q% j! Q8 ~& m- f! s
-Extensive experience in using Microsoft Window office application software including Word

-Experience in web page publication, xml and/or IT network knowledge.
