CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

1 x% ?' ~7 n- L5 F" {· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork

· Connecting and disconnecting trailers
8 @+ h4 ^5 B2 m
· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections

; i7 E7 v- R+ v6 p0 P: O· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order
' |- w, G3 s% h& [/ u' d
" y' p  n: |& ?* D  @· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s
) n$ y, T, e2 Q; w) i
( Y" g6 t) z% U$ K· Operate manual and automatic shifts

· Secure loads safely

3 T( i$ k0 ]2 A- G· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
Qualifications and Training Requirements

· Minimum 3 years experience
$ L" r7 a( @6 W' y
· Valid Class 1 license

- C% a% w! T& l' p# v* H+ W9 I( a· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

· Load securement certification

2 R3 Q. j: Y& j: X% ?* K9 b# ]· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

· Excellent organizational and time management skills

· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

; A- B0 w3 A" Y; O7 l· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

· Ability to make runs to town or day runs to Fort Mac
