CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

Key Job Duties

· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork
  @7 N7 F) O. B6 c( r7 y- |5 g, _4 O
· Connecting and disconnecting trailers
- M) O% x1 A/ o8 D+ j; }4 l+ \3 h$ J
· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections

, H7 w2 K& Z: N( z+ n9 P· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s

2 Z4 Z6 j( y1 l3 C4 M% ^8 p8 O· Operate manual and automatic shifts

· Secure loads safely

· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
& i1 q- J3 [+ R0 {Qualifications and Training Requirements

· Minimum 3 years experience

) b+ J5 p$ v4 `# k· Valid Class 1 license

· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

· Load securement certification

$ U9 T5 m- ^1 P4 T0 ]( ^$ k· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

· Excellent organizational and time management skills

· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

) H7 Q$ A4 w; B" V. k+ O· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.

· Ability to make runs to town or day runs to Fort Mac

· Oversized loads experience is considered an asset
