CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

Key Job Duties

; G' z4 Y, e, R6 k7 [8 B· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork

, U% a5 V& |. R& @7 q· Connecting and disconnecting trailers

· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections

· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s

% @2 a( R6 y) g; K' h! T- i· Operate manual and automatic shifts

· Secure loads safely

. T# p% y; R2 w, f2 p· Minimum 3 years experience
' B  @. K3 v, ~4 i2 j+ z8 u$ f
. X# N; `7 M( u- s) g· Valid Class 1 license

· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

· Load securement certification

9 s, X* A8 J& H4 v& R· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation
