CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork

· Connecting and disconnecting trailers

( e/ A3 }2 W3 D2 F· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections

7 i" }( g! o+ Y) _3 `· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order
$ \$ W6 l9 C) i( d8 P
' V5 E1 y- Y1 _" Z7 F* `- P9 x· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s

· Operate manual and automatic shifts

· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
Qualifications and Training Requirements
% P3 T- j  b4 }& B" f: D, s. V% l+ q
· Minimum 3 years experience
& b" U( p. a+ x) v: T$ ?
8 n1 Y" l8 i: e/ d% J· Valid Class 1 license
+ R+ N7 b& r4 W. z% _. t
6 ~$ E+ G: j- p% i* t- V· 5 years clean driving record and abstract
% P) o! `1 d7 v% n9 O
· Load securement certification
" ?# M# V% a) i/ g6 t
0 Y( g7 [. _% m4 A& F& s· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

· Excellent organizational and time management skills
2 f; W% ^( a7 a! Q/ c! D3 O9 F/ ~
· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

+ j- O% O) }  B% |$ M: V· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.
