MadeFresh Foods Inc. is a fresh food manufacturer providing high-quality ready-to-eat food to your local grocery store.   MadeFresh Foods Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for a part time position in Edmonton, AB.
Brief Job Description:  Reporting to QA Manager, the main duty for the QA technician is to ensure all products conform to regulatory and food safety standards.  
Duties and Responsibilities:
% j3 C# ~2 ~& w" c. I1. Shelf-life testing/environmental Swabbing
2. Maintain and verify QA and production records
+ u4 Z( b: g1 t5 U+ d3. Monitoring and Verification of all CCPs
# b+ |9 q) ~4 e! i2 w4. Calibration of Equipment
5. GMP and other Food Safety trainings
1 Y, ~! |- u. H! _2 I3 L2 e4 q6. Monitor production process and employees’ GMP practices
. l1 E; f# ^$ Q4 {3 S$ x7. Other duties as assigned
Skills and specifications:
# X6 |/ L  w& A( o, X; e: R1. University or Diploma in Food Technology/Food Science
2. Knowledge in Food Safety and Quality Program (HACCP, Prerequisite Program and GMP)
3. Bilingual (Cantonese and English) is an asset
4. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment but also be able to work in a team environment
